CUTTING EDGE ACHIEVES NEW INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Leading industry fabricator, Cutting Edge Ltd has recently achieved the PAS 23 and PAS 24 industry accreditations with BSI in relation to all PVCu doors within the range.

With an eye on future market direction and any prospective

directives to be introduced regarding CE marking, senior management wanted to ensure that their customers would be in an advantageous position in relation to both quality and sales generation.

After rigorous testing the company achieved the new industry standards with BSI which will provide a number of benefits for installers including superior security standards. Once CE marking has been introduced, it will eventually become essential criteria for the industry where all products must convert from national standards to European standards.

It is expected that this will not be an easy task for all manufacturers because of the stringent requirements attached to certification. Failure to comply with the new industry standards could have far reaching consequences for those businesses who fail to see its importance.

Cutting Edge customers, however, will be in the enviable position of

providing consumers with an advanced product that already achieves the requirements for CE marking, a considerable advantage in today’s fiercely competitive industry.
