Ornilux from Germany’s Arnold Glas featured this month is such a


product. Part of a new movement called bio-mimicry, Ornilux glazing will prevent the bird strikes that kill thousands of birds each year. It is a very welcome development at a time when glass is being used more and more in buildings of all kinds and we hope to see it used much more extensively in the UK and Europe in future.
