National Air Ambulance Week, 24–30th September 2012 Everyone loves a superhero. Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman – all coming to the rescue of those in need and using their special powers to save the day. At MAA, our real life heroes are the public that keep our donation-funded service operational. You might not have special powers but with your help, we can continue to save lives in your community every single day. Help celebrate the work of Midlands Air Ambulance by joining in our Superhero fundraiser “Be a hero for a day”. You could dress up as a real life hero or a superhero. Why not gain sponsorship for your fundraising efforts and see how much your offi ce will raise for the chance to see your boss in tights and a cape! National Air Ambulance Week is an initiative put together by the Association of Air Ambulances, the organisation that unites Air Ambulance charities across the country. Hanna Sebright, CEO of MAA said; “We’re joining together with other local Air Ambulances across the country and are asking everyone to get involved. The public are our heroes so why not put some “fun” into your fundraising!” If you, your work place or school would like to be involved, please email For more information on National Air Ambulance week visit
