Charlotte Newberry Nothing is as exciting as watching a

group of women come up with an idea then thinking it over for a while and fi nally seeing it evolve into a reality! After deciding the Arizona Room could use a facelift, plans were formed, brushes and paint were purchased (along with other things) and a

work crew was put together. Talk about a happy little group! Pictures of some of them in action are posted on the bulletin board at the clubhouse. Pat, the smallest one of our group, is wielding a paint brush almost as big as she is! Excitement is building up as we prepare

for the Bazaar, November 2-4, held at the Sun Lakes Clubhouse. There are so many things to see and be a part of. Raffl es are a lot of fun and require no effort except the purchase of a ticket. Of course the raffl e of the golf cart is tops on the list, and tickets are available now. They may be purchased at the Resource Center for $2 each or six for $10. The manufacturer’s suggested price is $11,200, a bargain for the price of a ticket. There is also our annual bazaar raffl e, which features many lovely items to try for and a money raffl e with plenty of opportunity to win! Some pictures of furniture for sale (with

prices) are listed on the bulletin board in the clubhouse lobby and outside in the pool area. Remember this is only a sample of what is available. Don’t forget to check with Sharon Horton at 480-323-5519 or Jackie Smith 480-381-7383 if you need to purchase furniture or you wish to donate household articles in good condition. They can arrange for pick-up and delivery if needed. Please call Sharon if you have any storage space to donate. Ladies living in the Sun Lakes community are welcome on Mondays at 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room. Hope to see you soon! This is a great way to help support your community and have fun at the same time! 
