HIGHLIGHTS


MEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY- captured their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship in 2011. Four runners earned NAC All-Conference and one runner qualified for the NCAA


DIII National Meet.


FIELD HOCKEY - has made 15 consecutive appearances in the post season, including nine conference championships and 10 NCAA Tournament appearances.


There’s a transformation that student- athletes undergo at NEC. It’s one part pride, one part discipline, and all heart! Athletics means more than a field, a pitch, a rink: it’s a lifestyle. It’s a sense of belonging to yourself, to your team, and to the community at large. It’s the feeling that when you play, you become something bigger than yourself. MEN’S SOCCER- has earned post season appearances in seven of their last nine seasons, in 2006 finished second in the ECAC New England Tournament and won 12 games, the most single- season win total in program history.


WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY- has made 10 consecutive appearances in the ECAC East Playoffs and finished ECAC East runner-up in 2008 and 2010.


MEN’S ICE HOCKEY- has made 14 consecutive appearances in the ECAC East Playoffs. Hosted the 2008-09 ECAC East Championship and captured the 2004-05 ECAC East Champions and made appearance in the NCAA DIII Semifinals.


MEN’S LACROSSE- captured their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship in 2012, with an undefeated record in conference play, and earned the program’s third NCAA DIII Tournament appearance.


WOMEN’S LACROSSE- finished their 2012 campaign North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship runner-up.


BASEBALL- Earned the most wins in program history in 2012 finishing the season with 21 wins.
