Special feature

This year’s Pharma ChemOutsourcing introduces a new special feature, the CMC Biotech Workshop - Hands On Outsourcing Project Management for Pharmaceutical & Biotech Managers event, which takes place on the afternoon of Thursday, September 13 from 2.15pm to 4:30pm.

This hands on decision-making exercise will permit sourcing managers to work through a realistic sourcing scenario in small groups of 6-8 persons led by a facilitator. Timelines, budget, chemistry, interpersonal relationships within and outside a pharmaceutical company will all be explored. At the end each group will present its decisions to the whole workshop

group for comment and comparison. The organisers say this is a real opportunity for CMC management to work through an extensive exercise, so it should be a real learning experience! See www.chemoutsourcing.com for more details.
