MAKE: Floral 1950s Style Apron by Anna Ryan of www.funkydivadesigns.com

Make your own floral apron for the jubilee celebrations!

These instructions will take you through the steps needed to make your own 50’s inspired apron. This pattern up-cycles a fabulous duvet set from a charity shop in true ‘make do and mend’ style!

Materials: • Cotton duvet set or cotton fabric • Sew-in interfacing • Iron on interfacing • Co-ordinating thread..

Before you start sewing, you will need to draft a simple pattern for your apron with a curve base. Once you have your pattern you can start cutting the pieces needed for the apron.
