Silver Spring has transformed through a major renaissance of the central business district. Home of the Discovery Communications World Headquarters and the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, the area has blossomed with new dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities. Silver Spring is a designated Arts and Entertainment District. The Round House Theatre provides an eclectic mix of theatre, music and dance performances. The Fillmore offers live music concerts in a standing room, state-of-the art facility. Two movie theaters offer a variety of entertainment – The Regal Majestic and the AFI Silver Theatre. The Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza is the center of community activities in Silver Spring. Germantown Town Center


The Germantown Town Center project is made up of 80-plus acres from I-270 to the existing Upcounty Government Center on Route 118. Enjoy dining with a multitude of options.
