Downtown Silver Spring

Silver Spring has transformed through a major renaissance of the central business district. Home of the Discovery Communications World Headquarters and the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, the area has blossomed with new dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities. Silver Spring is a designated Arts and Entertainment District. The Round House Theatre provides an eclectic mix of theatre, music and dance performances. The Fillmore offers live music concerts in a standing room, state-of-the art facility. Two movie theaters offer a variety of entertainment – The Regal Majestic and the AFI Silver Theatre. The Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza is the center of community activities in Silver Spring. The Veterans Plaza is a large public open space, used for vibrant summer concert series and festivals and as an ice skating rink in the winter. The Veterans Plaza will include a memorial commemorating the service of veterans of Silver Spring and Montgomery County. Silver Spring is two blocks from the Silver Spring Metro station, for easy access around the county or into Washington, D.C.

Downtown Bethesda

Bethesda, one of the most exciting communities in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, is known as a great destination for ethnic restaurants, boutiques, home decór shops and artistic and trendy hot spots. Located on the western border of Washington, D.C., Bethesda’s residents, visitors and employees enjoy the convenience of a Washington, D.C. suburb and the lifestyle of one of the most coveted residential communities in the capital area. Choose from 200 restaurants and several special events including the Taste of Bethesda in October. The Regal Bethesda 10 offers mainstream movies and the Bethesda Row Cinema specializes in independent films. Downtown Bethesda is two blocks away from the Bethesda Metro station, for easy access around the county or into Washington, D.C.

Germantown Town Center

The Germantown Town Center project is made up of 80-plus acres from I-270 to the existing Upcounty Government Center on Route 118. Enjoy dining with a multitude of options. The center point of the area is the BlackRock Center for the Arts, a 31,000 square foot facility with three performing stages, exhibition gallery and five education studios.
