This vibrant town square is a gathering place bigger than a football field for farmers’ markets, concerts, community celebrations, and simply enjoying an afternoon on a bench. Here you’ll find shops, restaurants, and seasonal events including outdoor concerts and movies on the square. Also at the Town Square, you will find VisArts, a 40,000 square foot community center offering classes, meetings, recreation, exhibits, and shows. Across from the Town Square is the Regal Rockville Center movie theater, offering stadium seating and 13 movie theaters. Rockville Town Square is two blocks away from the Rockville Metro Station, for easy access around the county or into Washington, D.C.

Washingtonian Center, Washingtonian Waterfront and Rio Entertainment Center combined create a 530,000 square foot main street center plus 200,000 square feet of entertainment uses. The Washingtonian Center consists of retail, dining and services in a vibrant main street shopping environment. Merchants include Target, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes and Noble, Ann Taylor Loft, Chicos and Lindt Chocolate in addition to many others. Seasonally, guests can enjoy free concerts and waterfront dining at the Waterfront at Washingtonian Center. Paddle Boats on the Washingtonian Lake are available to enjoy in the spring, summer and fall.
