On Saturday 12 May 2012, Companions from across the Province, including many visitors from surrounding Provinces met at Melksham to attend the annual Convocation of the Holy Royal Arch in Wiltshire.

The occasion was held under the Banners of the Border Chapter No 3129 and St Edmund Chapter No 4714.

The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent was very pleased to thank the outgoing 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, Excellent Companion Keith Newton for his sterling work and support over the last two years. He also took the opportunity to thank the Deputy Grand Superintendent the Rev Dr John Railton and all the serving offi cers for their support and efforts during 2011-12.

The Convocation concluded with the Grand Superintendent’s Address, which is available to read on the Wiltshire Provincial Grand Lodge web-site. He was delighted to report that Companions continued to support the Royal College of Surgeons’ Appeal and asked that they took this fi nal opportunity to boost our already impressive total. To his great delight the Provincial Grand Master for Wiltshire, RW Bro Francis Wakem QPM and the Provincial Grand Master of Mark Master Masons RW Bro Martin Brown both took this opportunity to present him with cheques totalling £1,500.00 in support of the Appeal.
