Under The Lime Tree.cook!

Nikki Emmerton, Paperback, £10 From Under The Lime Tree Spa and B&B, South West France Setting up a vegetarian B&B and spa in France was a labour of love for veggie hostess and cookery author, Nikki Emmerton. Judging by the mouth-watering and nutrition- boosting recipes inspired by the authors own organic garden, the seemingly incompatible ‘veggie way of life’ in France

has paid off. Recipes are creative but easy to assemble (so perfect for entertaining guests) from the Mushroom & Artichoke Pâté with Lemon & Black Pepper to the Pecan & Cinnamon Cake. Vegan recipes are clearly labelled and the author’s friendly advice on everything from the mood-enhancing properties of chocolate to the power of peas makes this book a delight to read and cook from.
