GMB members at Swindon’s Great Western Hospital


A


group of 150 GMB members at Swindon’s Great Western Hospital are striking against PFI employer Carillion. The


strike is over bullying and harassment and the management’s failure to deal with evidence of bribery and corruption. Previous strikes at the hospital took place


in February and March, but Carillion still failed to deal with evidence of corruption. “Carillion continue to demonstrate all the urgency of a sundial over the situation at Great Western Hospital,” said GMB Southern


regional secretary Paul Maloney. “After months of denial and doublespeak, this is just more procrastination.” If you would like to off er messages of support to the
