Love: “I’ve got a BOSE system installed in my Nissan Armada and it needed some- thing else on the low end. I had an aftermarket sub and amp installed shortly after my purchase and it made a great system an even greater system!”
Hate: “My radio works, and I use it with my iPhone all the time. But it’s the ugliest
radio I’ve ever had! I wish it looked better.” Love: “I love having all the bells and whistles, and my radio has it all: SiriusXM, iPod
control, DVD player, back-up camera view through the radio and, best of all, my steering wheel controls work with it!”
Hate: “I hate the fact that I can’t stream Internet content (Spotify, Pandora) from my phone. Sadly, none of the high-end CD players I’ve seen have any of these features.”
Love: “I’m on my phone all the time, plus I keep all of my music on it. I’m getting ready to change out my current aftermarket radio for a Pioneer model with Bluetooth. It has a Bluetooth receiver, giving me the ability to stream music and have hands-free connectiv- ity.”
Hate: “I like my radio, but it would be great if I could just place my iPhone into some- thing and just control it through the radio. I want to be able to change songs on my iPhone directly from the radio panel instead of on the phone.”
Love: “I’m very happy with my factory radio; in fact, I haven’t changed the radio in my last five vehicles. On this newest one, I like the fact that all the information is displayed in the center of my instrument cluster.”
Hate: “My phone is really my radio, and it’s frustrating that I can’t do with my stereo what I can with my phone. I’ve been reading up on MirrorLink and I’d really like to have that feature on my next stereo.”
Love: “I’ve had two aftermarket radios in past cars and, for whatever reason, they
never looked right, and the dash never looked as good as the factory radio. So, this time, I decided to stick with my factory radio. It’s better than they used to be because it fits!”
Hate: “I know you can always add processors and more power to a system, but I don’t
want to do that. It would be nice if I could have a radio that had a bit more power and a better sound processor, which would give me the ability to fine-tune the sound better.”
