This 2.8 cubic-foot subwoofer enclosure was built from ¾-inch MDF with a 1.5 inch MDF baffle to mount the woofer. The interior was primed and painted white to reflect the glow from blue LED strip hidden at the top. The front of each enclosure will feature 1-inch clear acrylic to show off the subwoofer.


Three of the JL Audio amps will sit on the back of the enclosure behind the seat using ½-inch MDF, routed out with a flush trim bit. The two Hertz passive crossovers for the rear door will be flush-mounted above these.

The remaining two JL Audio amps “sink” into the floor near the rear, bookending the Audison bit One. Two Kinetic power cells are wedged in between the individual subwoofer enclosures.
