Ian Scott has been a supporter of all things ‘micro’ for several decades. Ian found ready support for his early often risky ventures in international transport, shipping brokerage and small business finance. Rising ambition found him running a boutique merchant bank in Manchester, studying Forensic Accounting at Manchester Business School and taking charge of a Lloyds Bank operating division. Jane Gomez
Jane Gomez is Managing Director of Prelude Group, whose mission is to “make Britain the most enterprising nation in the world”. Jane has recently returned from maternity leave to grow The Supper Club, a membership Club for the UK’s high growth entrepreneurs as well as launch and run several other initiatives to drive enterprise growth in the UK. Founded in 2003, The Supper Club is home to over 250 of Britain’s innovative, award winning entrepreneurs and has hosted over 850 events to date.
Joe Haslam
Joe Haslam was born in Ireland but now lives in Madrid. He is Vice President at Stratemic Capital, a boutique VC firm specialising in Disruptive Innovation investments. He is also an Associate Professor in the IE Business School International Centre for Entrepreneurial Management and a Mentor in the IE Venture Lab.
