such as lies, drama making, trickery, pretending and deceit impacts on our everyday lives. The injustice of deception does not lie in its existence but in its denial. We are all tainted by this lesson because there is a time and place for everything. Our cultural and family conditioning hopefully teaches us when and how it is appropriate to behave, speak, think and interact with others. Exploring our relationship to our shadow self
reflects our capacity to embrace the less-than- desirable aspects of our personalities and actions in life. As parents we try and teach our children to tell the truth and be honest and yet this is impractical as we are the first to teach them to lie, deceive and pretend. It is in the degrees of deception that we all find ourselves since it is not always wise or safe to tell the absolute truth as we perceive it all the time. There are two biological realities. The first
is our truth is influenced by our perception of events and therefore may not be the same as others and secondly our drive for self- preservation results in our deception, ensuring our survival in certain situations. The purpose in the lesson is to assist us
to see how deceit, lies, pretense, trickery and drama making creates imbalances in our use of energy when we interact with others and within ourselves. Self-deception plagues our society as it is encouraged and rewarded through our institutions, families, ego-self and advertising campaigns. When we accept our reality we will be free to work with it harmoniously. The workshop explores the role of deception
in our lives and using EFT protocols assists each person to transform their reality.

ORPHFUND IS A volunteer based organisation helping, abandoned orphaned & vulnerable children around the world. We are purely volunteer-based & are proud to ensure 100% of all donations received will reach children living in poverty. How you can help: Sponsor a child/
donate. Donate clothes, books etc for our container that will be shipped to Sierra Leone. Become a volunteer. Help spread the word on facebook. Donate something for our annual auction held 17 July in Fitzroy, Melbourne. OrphFund auction 2012 – What one
auction can do! At this years’ auction we hope to raise a
minimum of $20,000 for future OrphFund Projects. 100% of the money we raise will be spent on helping the lives of children living in poverty. It would be amazing if we could make the following projects happen in one night of fundraising! Your donation will help fund a range of
important projects: The Bre Taylor Art & Music School – Sierra
Leone. Sadly we recently lost a beautiful friend & long
term OrphFund volunteer Breoni Taylor. Bre was simply an amazing woman who brought energy, enthusiasm, laughter & so much more to our team. To honour Bre & her work with OrphFund we are building a memorial school for her in Sierra Leone; a place she had always wanted to visit & volunteer in. The school will be an extension of our
secondary school in Kamakwie. This new building will allow 150 more children to access low cost secondary school & also have an arts centre unique to the entire region.
We hope to raise $14,000 & build the school
later this year. Mama Pherena’s Home for Orphans – Uganda. Mama Pherena will be given their first ever home where 20 orphans in the village of Karambi, Uganda will live. The children all come from the impoverished
Rwenzori Mountain region that borders the Democratic Republic of Congo. All of the children have lost both parents & are in desperate need of a permanent home. We hope to provide $4000 from the auction to
this project. Toilets & showers – Kenya. Our Heartspring Children’s Village in Kager,
Kenya is home to 85 orphaned or abandoned children. Our existing facilities for showers & toilets are
inadequate & we have a great need to construct a large new block for the children. This project will cost around $4000.
