Kilmacolm Annual Flower Show
Kilmacolm Annual Flower Show will take place on Saturday 1st September, in the New Community Centre. Doors open to the public at 11am with Prize giving and award of Trophies at 3.30pm. The Show closes at 4pm with the Auction of Flowers and Produce. All members of Renfrewshire Horticultural Societies are welcome to exhibit in the Show, but we would encourage all keen gardeners in Kilmacolm to come along and place an exhibit, or two, or three, into the Flowers, Vegetables, Pot Plants, Tubs, Novices section. Or show off your baking in the Kitchen craft, or display or floral skills in the Decorative Floral Art section. Children are most welcome to place entries in their Section, and the Primary School will be putting on a great display in the ‘Picture Gallery’.
A schedule of the Flower Show is available now from Jill Russell, Show Secretary, on 01505 872393. Why not whisper encouragement to your plants, and have a good growing summer.
