Old Kirk Flagpole

The Flag Is Flying Again The fl ag is fl ying again above the tower of the Old Kirk Church in Kilmacolm thanks to a grant from Inverclyde Council which enabled a new fl agpole to be erected on the site of the old one which was condemned due to it being unsafe. The fl agpole is the most prominent one in the Village and it was great to see the fl ag fl ying for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and also for the Olympic Torch as it passed through the Village.
