Our recent production of “A Rise in the market” by Edward Taylor, directed by Mandy Robinson was very well received by our audience. The cast and production team had a great deal of fun presenting this comedy farce.
We would like to thank everyone who supported the play and added to its success, especially our audiences and sponsors of the programme.
KDS are preparing for our next production in late November/early December, A pantomime, a new venture for us. We are currently looking at various scripts. A reading of the chosen pantomime followed by auditions will take place during the summer holidays.
Due to the restrictions of working with children, unfortunately we will not be looking for anyone under the age of 16 years. Rehearsals will begin at the end of August in the New Community centre.
Anyone who may be interested in joining KDS to take part on stage, or assist backstage, should contact me on 01505 873088 for more details, no previous experience necessary.
We will be revamping and updating our website very soon…… Visit it at
