I would like to send out a spe- cial thank you to the many vol- unteers for their continued contributions to our annual BARC Canada Day Grand Prix weekend. Without their support, the Canada Day Grand Prix would not take place. thank all those who work along- side our BARC volunteers, in- cluding the Motorsport Marshalling Services (www.mo- torsportmarshalling.on.ca), the Canadian timing Association (www.canadiantiming.ca) and Bob’s Towing.

Most of you have noticed the huge improvements going on around Canadian Tire Motor- sport Park. The track’s owners

have been hard at work since they announced the purchase of the venue formerly known as Mosport International Raceway last spring. One of the biggest improvements has been making access to the viewing areas eas- ier for fans.

The bridges at Turns 2 and 7 have definitely shortened the time it takes to walk from one side to the other and the im- proved camping areas will be a bonus to those staying for the weekend. We hope you enjoy your time with us! •
