WELCOMING, enthusiastic,tal- ented and profes- sional are just a fewofthe words thatdescribe the companyCentre Stage Cymru, whichwas formed when a group of friends lead by producer and choreogra-
pher Sharon Fitzgerald decided to spread their wings and branchout on their own. The group’s first concert, at
the Dolman Theatre last week- end, wassold out. Centre Stage Cymru will also
be presenting Godspell from October 30 to November 3, bringing together the experi- ence of Andre- Paul Spring as producer,Sharon Fitzgerald as choreographer,and Victoria Bryant as musical director –a production team whichpromis- es success. Open auditions forGodspell

THEAWARD-WINNING Ballet Cymru bring their adaptation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece The Tempest to Newport’s The Riverfront next week. The Bard’s last playis

of the air;Caliban, the deformed and twisted slave; Prospero, the talismatic magician; Miranda and Ferdinand the star-crossed lovers,all collide in astory richinsubtlety and humour, set on an enchanted isle and
