Recolight has launched a new and improved online booking system for its business collection points and recyclers across the country. The system now has greater functionality, allowing collection points and recyclers to complete hazardous waste consignment notes securely online, book more than one container at a time, and register multiple users. Users will receive an email confirmation with a reference number when they book a collection, and are able to monitor the status of a collection request, and cancel or edit collections online within 48 hours of the request being made.

LEE Filters have launched a new range of Dichroic Polycarbonate Filters. These new slim filters have been specifically designed to help colour correct LED light sources. They have a dichroic coating on one side providing an optimal colour correction solution for permanent lighting installations. With a thickness of just 0.76mm, they will easily fit within a small fixture accessory slot and are available in a stock size of 49.9mm diameter (MR16) and come in a range of five different warm up colours. Custom sizes and colours are also available upon request.

GE Lighting is extending its range of Infusion™ LED modules. The Infusion Downlight Module (DLM), Infusion Punch and Infusion M4500 will be launched this summer. Astro Lighting has introduced a selection of new pendants for bathrooms and interiors, including the new Kyoto bathroom pendant light, which has a delicate tubular opaque white glass shade with a polished chrome top. It is suspended from the ceiling by a telescopic polished chrome rod that can extend from 450mm to 800mm, allowing the light to be hung over the basin area. The Kyoto is IP44 rated for the bathroom and has a low energy 24w bulb. Astro Lighting has just announced results that show sales up 31% on the previous year, and with its top ten European distributors showing an 80% year-on-year sales growth, Astro is flying the flag for British design in Europe.
