Black Country Metal Works provides their knowledge on period lighting for an exciting new BBC drama.


Black Country Metal Works are delighted to have been involved in a wonderful new BBC drama that will be coming to our screens in 2013. The team was asked to provide lighting for the show that would suit the atmosphere and the period in which the programme has been set. Based on the acclaimed book, "Ladies Paradise", the story is the rags to riches rise of young Denise, who in the 1890’s comes to a northern city in England. She travels to the city to work as a shop girl in a glittering, new department store, and the programme follows the period in history when
