This is opening the door for the increasing use of LEDs, such as P4’s Quantrum LED range, which features the aesthetically pleasing MonoLED, TriLED and QuadLED. The teams new LD-CO/Dali conversion pack has been designed to suit the varied technologies utilised in the various high power LED modules and LED arrays being used in the increasing number of LED luminaires. ELP engineers designed the LD-CO emergency LED control gear range, which allows the maintained operation of many high power LED modules. The latest version now offers full DALI control and reporting plus automatic self-test if a DALI signal is not connected. This new three-hour duration LED emergency lighting driver is available as a kit suited for the conversion of high power LED luminaires but can also be utilised within ELP’s own LED luminaire range. Therefore, ELP can offer


bulkhead and exit sign luminaires with full Dali or self-test operation. Emergency lighting and fire detection specialists Emergi-Lite, part of Thomas and Betts, understands the importance of simple control of emergency lighting installations. As a result, they have created new online software called ‘Naveo’, which allows users to control their entire emergency lighting installation, inspection and maintenance process by providing an overview and control of all emergency lighting systems at any place, throughout the day.


Using inspection and maintenance software for PC, tablet or smart- phone, Naveo allows users to save valuable time spent collecting and entering information. There’s no


unnecessary ladder hauling, illegible annotations or double data entry. This saves time in planning,


maintenance and administration, and the software provides preventative alerts to allow replacement before any faults occur. This increases building safety and planning efficiency of any installation.


Efficient emergency lighting solutions are essential to the safety of specific buildings. As such the installation and maintenance of such products needs to be thoroughly researched and completed


efficiently. Legislative requirements help those in the industry to ensure that all products meet the right standards.
