Bovey Tracey Business Association
BOVEY Tracey Business Association was started in September 2010 to form a body to represent the town and districts business community by facilitating networking and by providing contact and support for its members.
The first year saw a membership of more than 50 businesses which it aims to increase in the coming year to boost its
representation of the local business community, more members lead to a stronger voice! During the year, the association held quarterly member meetings which provided networking, an opportunity to discuss the local ten-year plan with a member of the Teignbridge
Town Planning Department, held a discussion group on traffic and parking in the town and communicated members views and suggestions to the local council and ended the year with a Christmas quiz extravaganza.
In 2011 the association published its first half yearly household directory advertising member’s business details for local residents and businesses. Its aim in 2012 is to include a loyalty scheme in the new addition to support ‘the Bovey Pound’, so make sure you don’t miss it!
