Bovey Tracey
BOVEY Tracey Lawn Tennis Club will offer you the opportunity to enjoy the many pleasures of playing tennis. It embraces all levels of ability, from encouraging small children to knock about with a tennis racquet and ball in a fun way with an LTA coach, to social and exertive morning sessions of good quality tennis during the week. For the player who may be a little reluctant to renew a previously held enthusiasm there is a ‘Smash & Bash’, an evening run by the club’s

BOVEY Tracey Bowling Club is situated in the Recreation Ground adjoining the Cricket and Tennis Clubs. Vehicular access is from Newton Road, Bovey Tracey, TQ13 9PF. The Club was established in 1911. It was originally known as the Bovey Tracey Cricket and Bowling Club and until the mid 1970’s had shared the cricket pavilion. In 1980 a new pavilion was acquired and the bowlers broke away from the cricket club. Improvements to the green then came about due to hard work by the club members. By mid 2000’s it was decided to replace the pavilion and following strenuous fundraising the current building was opened by Lord Clifford of Chudleigh and Bovey Tracey town mayor Cllr
affiliated coach, to revise and rekindle those skills.
Once re-established, players can join its teams that play in the Exeter League and South Hams Mixed League.
There is a club night on Thursday and Sunday
mornings and mixed tournaments run during the year.
Why not join them at the Recreation Ground, Newton Road, Bovey Tracey?
