Bovey Tracey

Athletic Football Club

IN recent years the club has achieved Charter Standard Status and more than doubled in size with three senior and eight junior teams. The first team participate in the Premier Division of the South Western Peninsula

League which covers and area from Witheridge to the North and Penzance to the South. The second team won promotion to Division 2 of the South Devon League 2011/12 season remaining unbeaten throughout and drawing only two of those fixtures. They ended the year with an incredible goal difference of +95! The third team are used as a nursery team to introduce its under 16s to senior football. The Junior teams range from under 8s to under

16’s who train at Stover School on Saturday mornings.

Thanks mainly to volunteers the club have built new changing facilities at the WCR/Solo Capital ground along with stands and floodlights. Also there is a friendly, well-run social club at the recreation ground catering for many different pastimes.

The club publicise fixtures and events and will

warmly welcome supporters and new members along with its search for volunteer fundraisers and commercial manager(s) to help Bovey Tacey AFC provide the best facilities possible for the future.
