Bovey Tracey Youth Café

BOVEY Tracey Youth Café provides a free drop in facility where young people aged 11-18 can relax in a safe and caring setting, and become involved in a range of activities. Buy cheap hot food and snacks.

WE offer a range of indoor activities including music, arts and crafts, games, pool and air hockey table, five laptops with internet access, Wii and PS3.

WE provide opportunities for volunteer work at the Youth Café for older teenagers to increase their confidence, achieve a sense of responsibility and promote themselves as positive role models.

WE raise drugs and alcohol awareness, working with our local drugs and alcohol agency Y-Smart.

WE facilitate referrals and signpost young people to information i.e. smoking, sexual health, healthy eating and alcohol.

WE offer support and help on employment and training working in Partnership with Careers South West.

WE support young people to attend local meetings and have a voice and ownership of community matters through the Cafe’s own Youth Forum.
