Devon Guild of Craftsmen, at Riverside Mill in the centre of Bovey Tracey is an acclaimed contemporary craft gallery and shop showcasing unique work by South West makers plus artists of national and international standing. A popular attraction, entrance is free and there is an exciting programme of events and exhibitions open to all. Riverside Mill is a converted grade II listed building in a beautiful location by the old bridge in town alongside the River Bovey.
The venue features the Jubilee Gallery, extensive Craft Shop and The Terrace café, which has rooftop seating overlooking the town, making this the best all-weather attraction in the area.
As a charity the Devon Guild seek to create as many opportunities as possible for the public to enjoy and learn about contemporary craft, whether through their exhibitions at Riverside Mill, The Contemporary Craft Fair in Mill Marsh Park in June or through a wide-ranging programme of workshops, events and artists residencies in schools and colleges throughout the area.
