AS you’ll see from the list of contact details below we have a range of Churches in Bovey Tracey. They provide a variety of styles of worship and Christian life, and so there should be something for everyone, whatever your age, background and Christian experience (or lack of it). Although each of the Churches has its own distinctive approach and feel, we work closely together, sharing a belief that Jesus Christ came to demonstrate God’s love to all of humanity. We seek; then, to provide opportunities for people to explore what Christian faith might mean for them, to offer spaces for prayer and reflection, to learn from each other, and to be a part of, and serve, the communities of Bovey Tracey and Heathfield. Together as Churches, for example, we run a Holiday Club for primary school aged children in the summer, Lenten discussion groups, and a monthly Messy Church at St Catherine’s in Heathfield. Together we also fund a Youth Pastor, Robin Smith, who organises a discipleship programme for young people. In addition, of course, each church has its own pattern of worship, prayer, fellowship, pastoral care and support, and ways of engaging with global and local concerns, and each church extends to all of you its welcome and invitation to find out more.
