EMERGENCY SERVICES

PARK RIDGE POLICE

200 S. Vine Ave. Emergency 911 | Non-Emergency 847-318-5252 www.parkridgepolice.org

The Park Ridge Police Department is committed to a policing philosophy that builds community partnerships, fosters collaboration, and solves problems. The department embodies this philosophy under the title PACT – Police and Community Together.

The department provides many services to the community beyond the traditional law enforcement activities. Some of our community initiatives include: Peer Jury, School Resource Officers, Chief’s Advisory Task Force, Citizen Police Academy, Motorcycle & Bike Patrols, Police Explorers, Mobile Eye Program, and many other initiatives to engage young people, businesses and the community.

For over 30 years, the Park Ridge Citizens Patrol consisting of approximately 30 volunteers has served the community in many ways. They assist the police department by patrolling the neighborhoods and reporting illegal or suspicious activity. They also provide assistance with traffic control and other important services at community events. The Illinois Association of Chief’s of Police recognized them as the Citizens Group of the Year for 2009.

For questions or information on how you can make your community safe, call the Park Ridge Police Department at 847-318-5252.
