Westview student dies from injuries

Funeral services are scheduled today for a 17-year-old student at Westview High School in Avondale who was fatally injured in a fall from a moving vehicle. Conley Robert Livingston III, a Glendale resident, reportedly suffered a head injury and died May 25 at a Phoenix hospital where he was taken for treatment, sources said Tuesday. Services for Livingston are set for noon to 3 p.m. at Best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., in Peoria. Livingston was a member of the Junior Reserve Officers


Santiago ‘Wito’ Ayala Santiago “Wito” Ayala, 85, of Tolleson died May 27, 2012, in Goodyear. Mr. Ayala was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Phoenix to Santiago and Porfiria.


Training Corps at Westview, 10850 W. Garden Lakes Parkway, said Karyn Morse Eubanks, a spokeswoman for the Tolleson Union High School District. Additional details about the student’s fatal injury, including the circumstances and the location, have not been confirmed, Eubanks said.


Avondale Fire-Rescue said Wednesday he was unable to shed any additional light on the matter. “I have been unable to find this incident in any of the communities served by dispatchers for the Phoenix Fire Department,” Deadman said. These 18 communities include Avondale, Buckeye, Glendale, Goodyear, Peoria, Phoenix and Tolleson.

first-place award in the tanker-truck category in the Arizona Truck Driving Championships. The top finish will allow her to compete in August in the National Truck Driving Championship in Minneapolis, an event known in the transportation world as the “Super Bowl of Safety.”

Richard A. Bringer Richard A. “Dick” Bringer, 77, of Goodyear died May 28, 2012, of congestive heart failure at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix. Mr. Bringer was born June 10, 1934, in Wichita, Kan. He moved to Arizona in 1973. He served in the Air Force for 26 years and was a master sergeant. He was also a member of the Church at Litchfield Park.


He is survived by two daughters, Jill Rosztoczy of Litchfield Park and Kim Zgabay of Spring Branch, Texas; two sons, Dennis of Phoenix and Gary of Surprise; and five grandchildren.

Memorials can be sent to the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. Funeral arrangements were made by Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.


He is survived by his wife, Esperanza; two sons, Ralph and Raul; two daughters, Isabel Pina and Mary; one sister, Armida Vega; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd. Ave. in Tolleson, with a rosary recital at 10:30 a.m. and funeral mass at 11 a.m.


Daniel Joseph Martinez Daniel Joseph Martinez, 20, of Waddell died May 27, 2012, at his home. Mr. Martinez was born Oct. 7, 1991, in Phoenix. He was a


student.

Ralph Christopher McGee Ralph Christopher McGee, 61, of Waddell died May 27, 2012, at his home. Mr. McGee was born Aug. 30, 1950, in Anadarko, Okla., to Imogene and James. He moved to Arizona in 1951. He retired as a construction supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca J.; two sons, Matthew J. and James M.; his mother, Imogene; one sister, Regina Countryman; and four grandchildren. Services will be private. Yvonne Jeanette Mueller Yvonne Jeanette Mueller, 69, of Buckeye died of cancer May 22, 2012, in Buckeye. Mrs. Mueller was born May 14, 1943, in Oakland, Calif.


He is survived by his father, David; three brothers,


She moved to Arizona in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints West Park Ward Buckeye Stake Center. She attended Brigham Young University, the University of Utah and Fresno State, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Later, she received her master’s in education from Northern Arizona University. She taught high school science for 20 years at Alhambra High School and then returned to teach in the Buckeye Union High School District after she had been retired for a year. She organized and took her students on trips to Glacier, Yosemite, Bryce, Zion and Yellowstone National Parks. She is survived by four daughters, Shalom Bonham, Katherine Dudley Jenifer and Allyson; two sons, Aaron and Clinton; one sister, Adrienne Leona Badger; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. June 11 at West Park

Michael John Peltier, 72, of Goodyear died May 25, 2012, in Goodyear. Mr. Peltier was born April 18, 1940, in Escanaba, Mich., to Lloyd and Jeannette.


He met his future wife, Judy, in Eugene, Ore., and then served four years in the Army before they were married Dec. 20, 1965, in Eugene. He was a civil engineer, building high rises and shopping centers in the Hawaiian Islands. He retired and moved to Arizona in 2009. He is survived by his wife, Judy;
