I am honoured to have been elected to serve as the SNP Councillor for Ward 10 - Bishopton, Bridge of Weir and Langbank. I wish to thank everyone who came out to vote on the 3rd May, regardless of how they cast their vote.

I take over from Carol Puthucheary, who served for many years as a very effective SNP councillor, before retiring from office.

Since the election, I have been involved in meeting constituents and listening to their concerns. I have also been attending local meetings, where a wide range of issues have been discussed. I have been very busy attending Council induction training and generally orientating myself in my new role. I will be on a steep learning curve for a while, but it is an interesting and exciting time for me.

I look forward to meeting many more Ward 10 Villagers throughout my time in office.
