L

ast month marked the second anniversary of my election as MP for Watford. It is a job that

I feel honoured to do, to represent you in Parliament and fight for what‘s best for Watford. The last two years haven‘t always been easy

and the Government has had to face difficult circumstances and make difficult decisions, but at the heart of all these decisions is to get the economy back on track and stabilise the country. At this point in the Parliamentary term I want

to hear from you about how you think I and the Government are doing, what you would like to see more of and what would you like to see changed. I want you to let me know if there is anything you think that I should be doing or you would like to see done in Watford or Parliament, or that you think I should raise with the Prime Minister. My job is to represent you and I feel it is

important that I know what you think about what I have done for Watford and in Parliament, and how you think the Prime Minister and the Government are faring, and fulfilling their election promises. Please let me know by emailing richard.harrington.mp@parliament.uk, writing to me, 30 The Avenue, Watford, WD17 4NS or by calling 0207 2197180. You will also have the chance to raise these , or

any other matter with me at my next public meeting on Thursday, June 7, at 7pm at the Orbital Community Centre, Haines Way, Watford, WD25 7QU. This month I will be hosting the second

Watford Jobs Fair. I decided to have the first fair last year after hearing many people tell me that they couldn‘t find jobs, but also as I was hearing from Watford companies about how they were struggling to recruit.

Last year’s successful Job Fair. Since launching the Fair a few weeks ago I

have been very pleased with the number of companies that have signed up to advertise jobs and Apprenticeships on the day, including big Watford companies, Warner Bros, BRE, JD Wetherspoons and Hilton International as well as many more small local companies. There are still a few places left so if your company would like to take part please get in touch. As well as the chance to meet employers

offering real jobs, attendees on the day will also have the chance to attend seminars on CV writing and interview skills. There really will be something for everybody if you are looking for your first job, looking for a change in career or looking to go back into employment. The fair will take place on Thursday, June 28,

at the Langley Banqueting Suite, The Parade, Watford High Street, between 10am and 4 pm. All are welcome, it is free of charge. For details visit www.watfordjobsfair.co.uk or

follow us on twitter @WatfordJobsFair. You can contact us by emailing

jobsfair@richardharrington.org.uk or calling 0207 219 7180.
