Get Hip to Health! The Science Alliance is excited to bring the brand new “Get Hip to Health!” library program to Chicago this summer! This fast-paced, interactive show will get your kids pumped up about the many wonders of the human body and keeping it healthy! Scientist Bill Bosworth will capture kids’ imaginations as they learn all about germs and how to fight them, get their hearts pounding and learn about eating the rainbow to feel great! Kids will explore how their body gets energy, how best to keep it fueled and easy ways to “Get Hip to Health” right now! The Science Alliance always involves MANY audience volunteers because science is COOL, being healthy is HIP, and YOUR KIDS CAN DO IT!


ScribbleMonster Music, Movement and Healthy Reading with


ScribbleMonster Coach ScribbleJim and Coach ScribbleJayne of ScribbleMonster present Musical Fit Club: A Workout routine that targets the body and mind. Warm-ups begin with sharing songs and ideas about fitness and healthy eating, followed by a few reps of page turning as ScribbleMonster sings a favorite book. Children will receive a healthy dose of laughter and get the chance to stretch their imaginations before finishing the workout with an all-out dance party! Music Fit Club targets physical skills with fine and gross motor movements, builds self-confidence with opportunities for creative expression and reinforces the positive aspects of exercise and nutrition through music and play.
