Teignmouth Chamber of Commerce

(Established 1905)

The Teignmouth Chamber of Commerce has a membership which includes individual traders, medium sized businesses and larger employers in the town. It is also open to Professionals.

Members are represented on a number of committees which include: • Teignmouth Town Centre Management • Teignmouth Regeneration Project • Carlton Theatre Project • Teign Estuary Forum • Teignmouth In Bloom competition • Teignmouth Soup Kitchen (set up by the Chamber during World War Two to help those in need) • Car Parking • Community Policing

The Chamber takes an active role in the town and has been involved in projects which include the new children’s splash park, miniature golf and games area. Current projects include the new Carlton Theatre, improvements to the Brunswick Street/George Street area and regeneration of the Broadmeadow Business Park which includes the creation of new jobs and restoration of the sports pitches. If you wish to get your voice heard we are an organisation in which your opinion matters. We consult regularly with a range of organisations – including Town, District and County Councils – which provide our members with the opportunity to influence decisions affecting their interests. We strongly believe that investment in our town will result in prosperity for our members and the people of Teignmouth.
