23 MAY HARRY BIRD AND THE RUBBER WELLIES This travelling folk band who are based in Dublin, Bilbao and Groningen, have recently had quite a lot of airplay with their debut album Long Way To Be Free including RTE 1 and Lyric FM in Ireland and Mike Harding’s Folk Programme on BBC Radio 2. They are touring the UK and will be dropping into the Blue Walnut Cafe, Torquay to play one gig. This coincides with the release of their second album, The Bones on Black.
and a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the work we do in Malawi. We have several fundraising activities and all in all, it’s going to be a lot of fun.’
