Super-Team Family http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.co.uk/

In 2010, the owner of the site (I can only find the name ‘Ross’) came up with a great idea of merging characters to come up with ‘lost’ issues of the Brave & the Bold, DC Comics Presents, Super-Team Family, Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Two-In-One.

Some of the issues

are inspired.

Witness for instance, the Justice Society versus

Galactus, with the

swore to never

attack Earth again…but he made no such promise to Earth-Two”. Wow!

Ross also shows the counter-heroes in action, such as Plastic Man and Mr Fantastic, the Vision and Red Tornado, Tarzan and Conan etc.

All very intriguing. But it’s not just comics. The site also brings together some famous faces from

tagline “Galactus

film and television, including the not

quite

forgotten Dynomutt and Blue Falcon with Spider-Man. Personally,

I'm

most enamoured by the cosmic- powered covers. What if Darth Vader Became the Herald of Galactus is quite simply a stunning idea.

Ross has a number of ‘retro’ issues. These bring to mind either the golden-age or DC’s silver age. Here’s a cover featuring two of the

characters from that golden-age,

with a Bill Finger Bats meeting a Kirby Cap, complete with DC checkerboard top.

This has to be the most fun website I’ve come across in a long time. Not only that, but there has to be inspiration in there for some fanfic.
