Environmental Education Center’s Summer Nature Camps on Sat., May 5. The five-week camp offers children ages 7 to 10 a chance to
explore the environment through games, activities, experiments, hikes and crafts. The EEC is at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd., east of Lindsay, and open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Youth Youth ages 7 to 16 can participate in assessments
at Snedigar Sports Complex, 4500 S. Basha Rd., Chandler, from 8 to 10 a.m. Sat., May 19 to see if they qualify for Chandler Soccer Academy’s Gold program. CSA partners with Sereno Soccer Club to
offer the Gold program, which exposes players to a higher level of competition that focuses on individual skill development, self-confidence and teamwork. The program provides a developmental bridge between recreational soccer and competitive soccer.
May 5 – 18, 2012 Kids get kicks with youth soccer
Teams are coached by volunteers and compete against other competitive soccer clubs through both league and tournament play. There are no coed teams and all practices are in Chandler. The season begins in August and continues
through February. The cost for the program is $475, and includes a full Adidas uniform of socks, shorts, practice jersey and two game jerseys, a ball, two tournament fees, all league fees and all club and training fees. For more information, email info@gocsasereno. org or visit
