wanted to run up the score. The only run rules are 10 after 5 innings and an optional one this year of 15 after 4 innings, in which the losing coach has the option of ending the game at that point or continuing on to the 5th inning. That game did not reach the 4th inning, It was ended after 3 innings by the Buckeye coach. The AIA (Arizona Interscholastic Association) has a program called Pursuing Victory With Honor, this was not victory with honor for Desert Edge. On the AIA web site (aiaonline. org) there is a link to “Pursuing Victory With Honor” (PVWH). In this link is a section that lists participating schools. Buckeye is listed in the section under schools of distinction, Desert Edge is not listed at all. That tells it all.

Writer cherry-

picks his data Editor: Mr. Gordon P.R. Posner’s

takes issue (WVV, May 1) with an article by Ms. Doblander on the Keystone Pipeline. Mr. Posner doubts the reliability of TransCanada’s projection of positive job creation should the pipeline be built. As is typical of Mr. Posner’s letters to the editor, he combines sarcasm with narcissism by insisting that he alone has the right (or perhaps I should say “left”

— this is irony, not sarcasm) facts. He sites an independent source from Cornell University as supporting his claim that the pipeline will do little to create much-needed jobs. The “Cornell Global Labor Institute” may be independent, but it is hardly unbiased. Ivy League Universities are predictably supportive of leftist ideology. Mr. Posner then attacks comments by Ms. Doblander regarding Solyndra. He refers the reader to “Five Myths of the Solyndra Collapse.” “Five Myths of the Solyndra Collapse” can be found in a BLOG in the Washington Post by Mr. Ezra Klein. Both the Post and Klein are diehard Obama supporters. If you GOOGLE the article and read the comments below it, you will learn how off-base Klein is. Mr. Posner, being a Progressive, will use left- wing sites to substantiate his so-called facts. In his letters, he typically ties to overwhelm you with cherry-picked data and mock your intelligence with his unparalleled intellect. Don’t be afraid to call his bluff.

war focus on the economy a reminder that the Afghanistan war cost the taxpayers plenty and is a big reasons this country is suffering fi nancially and is broke.

For those who say forget the

President Obama is responsible for killing Bin Laden but is it not interesting that nothing seems to change the war rages on. As long as the United States engages in , No Win Wars our economy will never recover and our country will continue to suffer. Ten years is enough sacrifi ce for the Afghan people.
