What is Part Exchange? Part Exchange was set up for people who want to buy a new property but are having difficulty selling their property. So we tied in the fact that we are property investors, we’re also an estate agent, put the two together and we came up with Part Exchange. We act as the buyer for your property, and that then enables you to go out with us and find you a property.
Is it a swap scheme? No, it’s a proper part-exchange scheme. It’s actually very similar to part exchanging a car.
Where would we find the properties that you have? We don’t have a specific property database, we ask you what kind of property you want. For example, if tell us you want to buy a three-bed, two-bath villa, within a 10-minute drive of the coast, then that’s what we’ll go and find for you. So if I want to move house, but can’t because I’ve got a property I can’t sell, , I come and see you, you buy my property and I can move. As simple as that?.... Yes.
One is not restricted to buying a brand new property from a developer? No, you can buy anything. It’s just got to be right for you, as long as you like it, we’ll help you find it.
Once the deal is done you will sort out the legal aspects? Yes, we have a brilliant contract for Part Exchange. We’ll help you with solicitors, conveyance, money transfers, everything associated with the purchase you had before.

How much is all this going to cost? We don’t charge anything for this. The fee is generated by the fact that you are buying a house through us, so we get our fees just like a normal estate agency.
What about downsizing? No, it doesn’t work for downsizing. The service is only available for people who are wanting to move up the property ladder.
Is now a good time to be moving and using this scheme? Yes, it’s a fantastic time, and Part Exchange probably works best in this difficult time. It is best explained with a simplified example based on property prices dropping by half:
