FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK One of the many reasons that I love being the Editor of Pulse
Magazine SWFL is having the privilege of meeting so many unique and inspiring people. After so many years and so many issues, sometimes I wonder where the next interesting story is going to come from – haven’t we already featured everyone worth featuring?! This year’s Annual PULSE Awards Issue proves that we’ve only scratched the surface. In fact, there are more worthy individuals than pages available in Pulse! I’m not just talking about the people we interview. There are
so many others who make each issue possible even though they remain behind the scenes. A great example is the “Sacred Style” fashion story, shot on location at the historic Shangri La Springs in Bonita. Without the assistance and enthusiasm of
their
knowledgeable team, such exclusive access to the property and the amazing photographs that resulted simply wouldn’t have happened. Thanks again! Despite a challenging past few years, a sense of optimism
now prevails in our community. It’s evident by the high volume of new businesses opening and new concepts launching. If residents didn’t have confidence in the future of this region, they wouldn’t be investing - not only financially, but also of their time and energy. So even though we’re heading into the off-season, I think it’s safe to say that SWFL is officially back on! Enjoy the issue.
