The average member age is 21-40, but a youthful spirit is the only prerequisite to be a part of “YP.” From their monthly Thursday night networking socials to philanthropy work and ath- letic events such as their recent 6th Annual Dodgeball Tournament, YP Naples is always up for something! Although this group arguably has a little more fun, valuable connections are being made simulateously... speed networking anyone?! Fort Myers also has an active chapter. dues: $40/year + event costs online:

MEETUP.COM
“Meetup is the world’s largest network of local groups.
Meetup.com makes it easy for anyone to organize a local group or find one of the thousands already meeting up face-to-face.” –
meetup.com
Although this website didn’t originate in SWFL, it has a very active local component. Network- ing isn’t just small talk and business card exchanges. Referrals and leads come from meeting new people, being active in your community, and sharing your passion with others. That’s precisely why
meetup.com is so great. With 9.5 million members, 280,000 monthly “meetups” and 92,000 local groups, every possible interest is covered; from yoga to board games to com- puter coding to photography. Their user friendly platform omits the expense and hierarchy of more traditional networking organizations, but unlike many other internet-based applications,
meetup.com actually facilitates face-to-face meetings rather than rendering them obsolete. dues: free online:
