As the founder and executive director of Collier Spay & Neuter
Clinic, SWFL’s only nonprofi t, high quality, high volume, low cost spay & neuter clinic, Pallas Diaz oversees all daily operations of the clinic and organization. According to her husband and nominator, Efrain Diaz, Pallas’s work has allowed nearly 10,000 animals to be spayed/neutered since founding CSNC less than three years ago. “She has broken down fi nancial barriers for pet owners in the com- munity so they could do the right thing. She also promotes unity in the animal services community, along with Collier and Lee County Domestic Animals Services, Humane Society of Naples, Collier Cat Coalition and other rescue groups,” he adds.

You’re running for president - what’s your campaign slogan? “There is no problem we can’t solve.”
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A Marine Biologist.
You have the opportunity to travel one place anywhere in the world free of charge. Where would you go? The Galapagos Islands
What’s your favorite thing to do in SW Florida when you’re not working? Spend time with my husband and dogs in our home.
What’s the one technology gadget that you can’t live without? My iPhone.
What’s your favorite thing about living in SWFL? The beautiful weather.
Least favorite? Irrational people.
What’s next for you? My long term goal is to facilitate the end of unnecessary euthana- sia and homelessness of domestic animals in Collier County by continuing to expand our clinic’s reach into the SWFL popula- tion of pet owners, shelters and local businesses.
