Hello readers W

hat a lovely warm month March was. It put mags4dorset design director Ben Pulford in the mood to take a last minute six-week holiday to travel around Thailand,

Malaysia and Vietnam. He’s having a fantastic time and even went to see the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix, which took place on 25 March. Watching it on the television made me feel glad that I was in the comfort of my own home – whereas Ben was spectating in the pouring rain. However, we did discover that he was under cover and he’s got some brilliant photographs. We had a bit of a shock in the office when Ferndown Common behind the grounds of the upper school was attacked by arsonists. Turn to page 4 to read more and see the pictures. We were one of the first at the scene and it was shocking to see how quickly the fire spread. Please do be careful in this dry weather and don’t do anything that could start a fire on heathland, it’s tinder dry. Our gardening feature this month will help you get set for spring/summer. Check out pages 20-21 to find out more Also in this issue we have a four-page motoring feature (P28-31);

Verwood’s new Carnival Queen and Princesses (P22); a giant surprise (P15); TEDS toys comes to Ringwood (P12); and your usual local news in the area. Have a good month.

Kris
