Inauguration of fitness equipment on Verwood recreation ground took place on 24 March. The equipment was purchased from local fundraising including some of last year’s proceeds from the Rotary Rustic Fayre.

“The Multi-Use Games Area is our next goal,” said community fundraiser Angela Daymond. “We have £10,000 already and we are optimistic that we will achieve the MUGA in the not too distant future with community support.” Latest news is that Verwood Town Council has agreed to match fund the AGFA group’s fundraising up to cap of £50,000, to include money already granted.
