Get the foundation right and everything else will follow
Y
our underwear is your foundation. Gok says it, Brendan Courtney says it and now Margaret Healy of Ahvage
says it. Many women will make an
investment in a designer outfit and then opt to wear cheap underwear. But the experts believe you’d be better off investing in your underwear and cutting back on your spend for the outfit, because if your shape isn’t right, it won’t do the clothes justice. Margaret has owed the lingerie
boutique for the past seven years at George’s Court Shopping Centre and with a sincere honesty, she offers help, support and advice and loves nothing better than seeing a women leave her shop with their head held high brimming with confidence. She has that effect on all her clients,
especially those who are taking the brave step to getting a prosthetic or mastectomy bra. Having undergone intensive training with Anita Care, who is her product of choice, Margaret understands that she may often be the first person to see the
client post surgery and so privacy and discretion is of the utmost. Whether it’s laughter or tears,
Margaret is honest and open and her sole aim is to have clients feeling feminine, get them their shape back and help them to wear their clothes with a renewed confidence. She stocks a large selection of breast
forms, lingerie and swimwear from the Anita Care range, all of which are also suitable for ladies who have not undergone breast surgery and is the only lingerie boutique in the South East to provide such a service. She caters for all ladies, with sizes
starting from 30” and in many designs going right up to 50”. She also has a full range of sports bras
and is on a mission ‘to stop the bounce’, particularly with so many women taking to the roads and training for the Waterford Viking Marathon. Feeling comfortable during pregnancy
is hugely important and Margaret has an impressive range of maternity bras in stock for all mums to be.
For those looking to loose a few inches coming into the summer months, the Miracle Swimsuit is a must, which promises to see you look 10lb lighter in 10 seconds. Margaret credits a friend for a very wise piece of advice, “Your swimwear becomes your daywear on holidays”, so the message is get it right!
