By Royal Appointment After that the BeeVemon

formula was applied and left for 10 minutes to take effect. I did actually get a comment from my husband when I arrived home to say I looked different –in a good way (which is no mean feat let me tell you!) Val in Salon 16 also

gave me the Bee Venom bream to take home with me and use on a daily basis underneath my moisturizer and it’s fab. All in all, I highly

recommend it. Your face will love you for it. For more call Salon 16,

T

he first anniversary of William and Kate's royal wedding is upon us and so I’m going to let you in on a little

secret about how Kate managed to look so fabulous on her big day – the Bee Venom Facial. The story goes: Kate and Camilla

apparently get on like a house on fire, and Camilla has regularly used these facials since her wedding to Charles. In fact she had one on the morning of. So when Camilla recommended the Heaven BeeVenom facial to Kate she immediately sampled one for herself and had one two days before her big day too. The Bee Venon in the cream tricks the skin into thinking it’s been stung which causes the area to temporarily swell, making light wrinkles plump up and become a lot less visible. The Heaven product line is a range

of organic, natural products developed by beauty therapist to the stars Deborah Mitchell. Deborah regularly works on Kylie and Danni Minogue, the Royal family, Victoria Beckham, Simon Cowell and now, you can have her facial treatments in Waterford at Salon 16. Salon 16 invited me down to sample

the much hyped treatment (I know, it’s a hard life) and I wasn’t disappointed, wrapped up in the warmth of my fluffy blanket I was cleansed, and my skin gently buffed so smoothly that I couldn’t stop rubbing my forehead. The facial massage used all natural organic products from the Heaven range and was just divine.

22 What’s new in Waterford

version for all over the body including your face. There are no ‘parabens’ in it either which means even those of you with sensitive skins can use it. I tried it for the first time last Saturday

night and it’s so easy even a man could do it. When using Mousse tans in particular

you MUST use a tanning mitt and your skin should be exfoliated and moisturized thoroughly the day before especially around the elbows, knees, ankles and hands. Then just whack it on half an hour

before you go out for instant fabulousness that will last for almost a week.

Lancome Doll Eyes mascara – a

great all round mascara for really lengthening your lashes has released three new versions of the product. Noir Waterproof, Noir Intense and the limited edition Violet Envoutant in a gorgeous purply shade that’s so hot right now.

RRP €27.50

available at all Lancome counters from this month.

One of my all
