Every week we run a special section called, ‘Woofs, Hoofs and Whiskers’. The ads are specifically for pet services. This week is the first week we featured an article called “A Minute with Max” and it’s part of the pet section. I write the words from Max’s perspective. This just goes to prove we animal people are a little crazy!!! Enjoy!
Speaking of pets, we went to Nantucket this past weekend for their annual Daffodil Festival and they had an antique car parade and a variety of other activities. The most fun was the doggie parade. There must have been about 30 entries and the dogs were all dressed up in “Daffy” style. They had daffodil hats, skirts, were paraded around in baby strollers…everything they wore or were decorated with had daffodils. They were so cute and everyone watching had a great time. The whole weekend was beautiful. The weather was fantastic and everything on the Island was decorated with daffodils… including the crazy hat I made and wore all day Saturday. This was my first time to Nantucket and we had a great time. We went to the garden show where daffodils were exhibited and judged. I never knew there were so many different varieties of daffodils. I have always loved this flower but after this weekend I love them even more. They are bright and cheery and are the first sign of spring…. which is ever more the reason to love these beautiful flowers.
