is the awe-inspiring Sheikh Zayed Mosque – one of the world’s largest mosques and a stunning architectural landmark. The emirate of Abu Dhabi

is made up of more than 200 islands, with Yas and Saadiyat Islands undergoing significant development for tourism.

Yas has already garnered an international profile as home to the Yas Marina Circuit, which hosts the annual Abu Dhabi Etihad Airways Formula 1 Grand Prix. Next door to the state-of-the-art motorsport facility is the world’s largest indoor theme park – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, home to the world’s fastest rollercoaster, as well as attractions and exhibitions dedicated to the Ferrari luxury car brand. will be home to Abu Dhabi’s cultural district, including Guggenheim and Louvre museums and the Sheikh Zayed National Museum. The Saadiyat Beach Golf Club – designed by the legendary Gary Player – is ready to play and is the region’s only ‘ocean’ course. The emirate offers more

than just the island city and its developments. To the east near the border with Oman is the ‘oasis city’ of Al Ain. This tranquil city lies under the shadow of Jebel Hafeet – the emirate’s tallest mountain peak at 1,340 metres and the excellent Al Ain Wildlife Park, with a collection of animals including rare species such as the white tiger, is a special treat. In the Western Region – Al

Gharbia – visitors will find unspoilt beaches and some stunning desertscapes. Best for breathtaking sand dunes is the Rub Al Khali, or Empty Quarter. This desolate, remote region provides a unique experience for visitors.
